Privacy Policy
Effective 4 October 2026 · Last updated 4 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Make it Train app and the makeittrain.app website handle. Make it Train (“we”, “us”) publishes the app. The short version: we don’t collect personal data. Your game is saved on your own device, and the only third parties involved are Google (for ads) and Apple or Google (for the optional purchase).
What the app stores on your device
To remember your game, Make it Train saves the following on your device only. It is never sent to us.
- Your progress: the furthest level reached, stars earned on each level, levels failed and hints used
- Your star balance and the Shop items you’ve bought and chosen
- Achievements and which intro cards you’ve already seen
- Your settings: sound and vibration on or off
- A count of wins and finished runs (used to space out ads and to ask once if you’d like to rate the game)
- Whether you’ve bought Remove Ads
There are no accounts, no sign-in, and we don’t collect your name, email address, contacts, location or photos.
Advertising
The free version of Make it Train shows ads from Google AdMob. No ads appear early in the game; after 25 finished runs a full-screen ad may show between levels, at most once every five runs, and never during a run.
To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device type, operating system and how you interact with ads. This is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; you can read how Google uses data from partner apps at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- EU, UK and Switzerland: before any ad, the app shows Google’s consent form so you can choose how your data is used for ads. You can change your choice later.
- iPhone and iPad: the app asks permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before an advertising identifier is used. If you say no, you’ll see ads that aren’t personalised. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device’s Google settings.
If you buy Remove Ads, the app stops requesting ads.
In-app purchase
Make it Train offers one optional purchase, Remove Ads. Payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. The store tells the app only whether you own Remove Ads, so it can switch ads off and restore the purchase on another device.
Children
Make it Train is a family-friendly puzzle game suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are requested for general audiences. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we’ll help.
Deleting your data
Use Settings → Reset progress in the app to wipe your progress, or uninstall the app to remove everything it stored. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing on our side to delete. For data held by Google for ads, use your device’s ad settings or Google’s privacy tools.
This website
makeittrain.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for a short time for security and to keep the site running.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We don’t sell personal information. For ad-related data, the controls above and Google’s tools let you exercise these choices; for anything else, email us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
